We are excited to announce that applications are now open for stall spaces at the LandxSea Eco Fair 2024! This event is a highlight of the Montrose LandxSea Film Fest, taking place outdoors on The Mall outside The Montrose Playhouse on Saturday, 14th September from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

LandxSea is excited to announce the North Light Award for Best Scottish Environmental Film at the Montrose LandxSea Film Fest 2024. The North Light Award celebrates the best in independent filmmaking in Scotland, honouring innovative storytelling and fresh perspectives on environmental issues.

Submissions are now open for the Montrose LandxSea Film Festival, 13-15 September 2024. 

We’re seeking films that embody the spirit of environmental change — films that can captivate and inspire our passionate Scottish audiences.

As the year draws to a close, we extend our deepest gratitude for your incredible support during our inaugural year. The enthusiasm of our community is propelling us forward with excitement for 2024, with plans already in motion for many more inspiring films and discussions. Stay tuned for updates in the new year!

Meet our remarkable host venue, The Montrose Playhouse. Built in 1964 as the town's public swimming baths, this iconic building lay dormant after its closure in 2010.
